Park bench with cast iron armrests and a wooden seat
This park bench pairs ductile cast iron ends and armrests with a wooden seat. The cast iron gives a strong, stable base, and the wood gives a comfortable seat for parks, streets, school grounds and commercial plazas.
The bench is 2000 mm long and 500 mm deep, with a 450 mm seat height.

Materials and finishes
- QT450-10 ductile iron: cast iron with spheroidal graphite, stronger and more impact-resistant than grey cast iron.
- Powder coating: dry powder applied electrostatically and cured into a hard, even layer. It comes in many colours and resists chipping and fading.
- Hot-dip galvanizing: the part is dipped in molten zinc, which forms a thick, long-lasting rust barrier.
Cast iron ends last longest outdoors when they are galvanized or powder coated, and the wood slats can be replaced separately later.
